Has anyone built this successfully? I have been at it all day. I have VS Code and all the dependencies installed (gcc, g++, python, etc) on a Linux box. I updated the LCD and it took. Built the firmware several times on every micro SD card I have, all formatted FAT32.

When I put the microSD card in the machine (Ender 3v2) and apply power the screen stays black and the little speaker on the back of the LCD starts screaming. Literally screaming. Had no idea that little sucker could be so loud. TH3D support states this is expected in some printers and to let the firmware do it's thing. I let it scream as long as I could stand it but it didn't take. Any ideas? A quick Google search finds lot's of folks having this issue.
Thanks in advance
